Overview:

The CodeSource Freedom 48™ is a high-performance CO2 laser system designed for precision cutting, engraving, and marking. With a large 48" x 24" work area and maximum engraving speeds of 150”/sec, it allows for enhanced productivity by reducing cycle times. The Class IV open bed design provides unrestricted access to the working area, making it ideal for larger projects and complex tasks that require flexibility.

Laser Power: High quality industrial grade laser sources manufactured in the USA with up to 500 watts of power available. These liquid cooled CO2 laser sources utilize a closed loop chilling unit that will properly cool the laser source.  This ensures a longer laser life and consistent marking, cutting, and engraving results over the life of the laser.  Higher laser power gives you the freedom to cut thicker materials and reduce marking and engraving cycle times.

Compliance with Government acquisition regulations: The Freedom 48 is Made in the USA and is compliant with all Federal Government acquisition regulations including Section 889, FAR 52.204-24, FAR 52.204-25, and FAR 52.204-26.

Motion System: High speed servo motors are installed on both the X and Y axis resulting in faster speeds, quick acceleration, smooth cut radiuses, and accurate part processing.  This reduces cycle times and increases productivity.

Industrial Build Quality: Solid steel frame with high-temperature stress-relieved welds for superior durability and stability.

Safety Features: Includes a UL certified electrical panel, emergency stop buttons, interlocked access points, and a safety key switch to ensure compliance with US CDRH requirements.

• Vision System: Fully integrated hardware and software solution for precision cutting of preprinted materials. Automatically adjusts for distortion, rotation, and perfect cut alignment.
• Z-Axis Height: The standard 3" is customizable up to 10"
• Fire Warden (Flame and Fume Reduction System): Specially designed for acrylic cutting applications, minimizing flame-ups and reducing thermal stress.
• Spark Suppressor: Greatly reduces the amount of sparks entering the fume extraction unit.
